Alexis Cole is a classic and classy jazz vocalist and this session was really a pleasure. We recorded it in just one day at System Two Studios in Brooklyn. It was a treat to make a Christmas Album and she put together an All Star Band for this session – Don Braden, Warren Chiasson, Fred Kennedy, Ike Sturm, and Jon Cowherd. The Grammy award winning trombonist, Alan Ferber did arrangements and some beautiful orchestrations too. Totally smokin!!!
